In my post on Raven, I mentioned that series 2 has several misses. This is one. Theoretically, it should be a great toy, but in practice, no one really liked it. The figure and jet were great, but the clam-shell minivan was a flop. The idea was to have an undercover vehicle that no one would notice (minivan), open up and launch a spy plane. Unfortunately, an ugly, non-cool vehicle was not fun to play with, even if it had a spy plane inside. I suspect that most of these were sold to parents as gifts for their kids. The minivan has two large opening clam-shells and a large elevating and rotating launcher for the jet. These large moving parts often got broken or misaligned.
This one is also difficult for collectors. It is often found with large missing or broken parts. The clam-shells are often warped, so they don’t close properly. There are many stickers and they are almost never found in good condition and placed correctly. The white plastic is often discolored.
